A collection of projects developed internally at Hornet for the studio’s social channels. While collaborative, these pieces were largely self-directed and became a space to experiment and explore ideas outside of client work.

Mardi Gras

To celebrate Mardi Gras, the Hornet CG team challenged themselves to build a fully photorealistic city by bringing New Orleans to life in stunning detail.

I had the honor of designing the poster that appears at the end of the film, drawing inspiration from the ornate beauty of Mardi Gras masks and the city’s rich cultural history.

Internship Announcement

This animation was created to announce openings for Hornet’s summer internship program.

I illustrated four scenes, each representing a core discipline at the studio—cel animation, compositing, motion design, and CG—and brought them together in a playful 15-second animation.

50k Celebration

To celebrate reaching 50,000 followers on Instagram, Hornet invited artists to reinterpret a simple 50-frame animation in their own style. My contribution was inspired by Lisa Frank designs and retro cartoons, designed in Illustrator and animated in After Effects.
